LCFC Radio commentator Steve Guppy highlighted the attacking intent of winger during Leicester City’s Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round .

The England Under-21s wideman impressed former Fox Guppy, who praised his direct approach after it caused plenty of problems for the Derby back line.

Gray capped his performance with an excellent individual effort and was a main source of creativity for City throughout 120 minutes at King Power Stadium.

Analysing the winger’s display following the game, Guppy told LCFC Radio: “He was brilliant. Thank goodness the referee missed the goalkeeper handling the ball, because we might have been deprived of that brilliant goal!

“I really like the way Gray attacked the defence tonight. The angle of his approach was so positive. He drove straight at them and caused them all sorts of trouble all night.

“He really gave Richard Keogh a good going over, which is no mean feat because he’s not a bad defender at all.”
