- Blue Army voice their delight on social media following the arrival of Cengiz Ünder- Ünder joins Leicester City on a loan deal for the 2020/21 season- The Turkey international’s transfer was celebrated on social media on Sunday morning

The 23-year-old Turkey international winger will spend the 2020/21 season with the Foxes in what will be his maiden campaign as a professional footballer in England.

Ünder progressed through the Altınordu youth system with close friend and new team-mate Çağlar Söyüncü, before moving to İstanbul Başakşehir and then later A.S. Roma on permanent deals.

**Impending transfer

With much speculation about Ünder’s transfer flowing into the weekend, supporters were teased on social media shortly before the confirmation of the news.

**Waking the Deadman

The Blue Army woke on Sunday morning in the UK to the news of Ünder’s imminent transfer, with the official WWE account also getting involved.

**Confirmation of the news

Deal confirmed. Ünder signs on a season-long loan for the Foxes, much to the delight of City’s supporters, not least the Turkish contingent, who are avid followers of Çağlar Söyüncü.

An exciting addition to the City squad was celebrated by the Club’s fans ahead of the Premier League match against Burnley later in the day.
