The Club are inviting youngsters between the ages of nine and 16 to sign up for open trial dates ahead of the 2022/23 season.

The youngest of the seven junior academy teams is a Foundation Phase for Under-10s to Under-11s, which includes a specific Foundation Phase syllabus. Teams play in the Boys’ Midlands Junior Premier League, alongside fixtures against local girls’ teams and other Regional Talent Clubs as part of a wider games programme.

The Youth Development Phase ranges from Under-12s to Under-16s and includes a specific Youth Development Phase syllabus. The Under-12s, Under-13s and Under-14s teams play in the Boys’ Midlands Junior Premier League, alongside fixtures against local girls teams and Regional Talent Clubs as part of a wider games programme.

Under-15s and Under-16s play in the Junior Premier League, against other girls’ teams, while fixtures against boys’ teams also take place and other Regional Talent Clubs as part of a wider games programme.

Training sessions and home matches are all held at LCFC Women’s state-of-the-art home of Belvoir Drive. The elite training facilities on offer include use of several grass pitches, the indoor dome, an outdoor 3G pitch, an equipment gym and analysis and education rooms - all housed on site.

This ensures there is a comprehensive games programme across the season, alongside four to six hours of training per week, which features a minimum of two on-pitch sessions each week, a strength and conditioning programme and access to educational workshops and psychology sessions.

The first stage of trials are open to the public, beginning at the start of June, with a series of invite-only trials taking place the following week. Closed trials for all age groups will then be held on Saturday 11 June.
