Willie Kirk’s team – who will shortly begin preparations for a third consecutive season in the women’s top flight – will travel to Ashton Gate on the opening weekend of the season ahead of their first home match a week later.
That game will see the Foxes welcome Everton to King Power Stadium on Sunday 8 October (3pm kick-off) – where supporters will have a chance to see a host of exciting new signings in action on Filbert Way for the very first time - before an away fixture against Manchester United one week later.
There is also confirmation that following a successful league campaign on Filbert Way last term, this season will see all home league and cup fixtures take place at King Power Stadium, with Burton’s Pirelli Stadium to continue to operate as a substitute venue in the event of fixture conflicts.
City’s final fixture of the calendar year will take place on the weekend commencing 16 December, with Willie Kirk’s side taking on West Ham United at home, before a return to competitive action in 2024 on 20 or 21 January against Aston Villa on Filbert Way.
The final away fixture of the Club's third season in the women's top flight will conclude with the test of West Ham United on the weekend commencing 4 May, before the Foxes host Liverpool at King Power Stadium for the campaign finale on 17 or 18 May.
Speaking to LCFC.com, LCFC Women manager Willie Kirk said: “Fixture release day is an exciting day for everyone within football and provides each team with a date to push towards during the ever-demanding pre-season schedule. Having the fixture calendar allows us to plan for the season ahead and helps us ensure our playing staff maximise their performance and efficiency at the right moments.
“As always, we are looking forward to our return to King Power Stadium in October and will be counting on your support as we continue to push for points and positive performances during our third successive season in England’s top flight.”
All fixture dates and kick-off times are pending live TV broadcast selections and are subject to change. All changes will be communicated on LCFC.com as soon as they are made.
