- Leicester City to face Newcastle United on Boxing Day, live on Amazon Prime Video- Liverpool visit moves to Friday 30 December- Home clash with Fulham also moves back to 3 January
Following the break for the FIFA World Cup in November and December, Brendan Rodgers’ side will return to Premier League action with a fixture at home to Newcastle United, which is now confirmed for a 3pm kick-off on Boxing Day, live on Amazon Prime Video.
The Foxes will then travel to Liverpool to take on the Reds at Anfield in their final outing of 2022, with that fixture to be shown live on Sky Sports and brought forward to Friday 30 December (8pm KO).
City’s opening game of 2023 at home to Fulham will also move in order to protect rest periods between games for players but will not be broadcast live in the UK. The game was initially scheduled for a 3pm KO on Monday 2 January, but will now take place at 7:45pm on Tuesday 3 January instead.
