- Leicester City have been drawn against Dagenham & Redbridge or Gillingham in the Emirates FA Cup- The two teams will meet in the third round on the weekend of 7 January - Gillingham host Dagenham & Redbridge in a replay in early December- Full date and ticket confirmation will be posted to LCFC.com in due course

Following a 1-1 draw in the second round, a replay between Gillingham and Dagenham & Redbridge will take place next Thursday (7:15pm GMT kick-off). The Foxes, who lifted the famous trophy in 2021, are set to then meet the winners away from home on the weekend of Saturday 7 January.

Dagenham & Redbridge, ninth in the National League, reached the second round having overcome the challenge of Maidenhead in their first game in this season’s competition, while Gillingham – who are 23rd in Sky Bet League 2 – beat National League North side Fylde in a replay.

City last faced the Gills in the 2004/05 Championship season, winning 2-0 at home and away, while they previously faced the Daggers in a 3-2 FA Cup second round win in November 2008.

A confirmed fixture date and kick-off time for the tie will be confirmed in due course, before ticket information is also posted onto LCFC.com/tickets.
