- Liverpool away awaits Leicester City in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup- The Foxes are current holders of the Emirates FA Cup and FA Community Shield- Ties take place during the week commencing 20 December, 2021
The Foxes, who have defeated Millwall and Brighton & Hove Albion in earlier rounds, are three-time winners of the competition and current holders of the Emirates FA Cup and FA Community Shield.
Liverpool, on the other hand, are in the last eight after successes over Norwich City and Preston North End.
The quarter-final tie is scheduled to take place during the week commencing 20 December, 2021. This means City's visit to Goodison Park to tackle Everton in the Premier League will move to Sunday 19 December (12pm GMT kick-off).
