- Enzo Maresca has provided an update on the fitness of his squad- Leicester City face Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Wednesday night- Only Callum Doyle (knee) is out of contention for that clash with the Owls- Tom Cannon is available for selection after returning from a back complaint
The Foxes make the trip to Hillsborough on Wednesday to tackle Danny Röhl's Owls (7:45pm kick-off). Following Saturday's 2-0 win over Watford, Maresca has confirmed that there are no new injuries.
Doyle, on loan from Manchester City, is continuing to recover and has been out since September, while Tom Cannon is now available. The former Everton striker is yet to make his debut for the Club due to an injury of his own.
"Callum is the only one," the Manager said on Tuesday. "We saw before the international break, we had some injuries.
"Wilf [Ndidi], Dennis [Praet], Yunus [Akgün], now they are all back. It’s very important now because it’s an important spell of games and it’s important to have the chance to chose some of them.
"Tom is completely fit. He’s been training with us for many weeks. He needs to be patient and to work. He is a striker and we have Jamie [Vardy], Kel [Iheanacho] and Patson [Daka], so it’s complicated.
"He has to continue to work the way he’s working. For sure, he will get chances. They are all different. Tom, at his age, he is full of energy. He can help us off the ball. On the ball, his finishing is very good. It’s just a matter of time with him."
With eight games between now and 2024, Leicester have a busy schedule to contend with, but Maresca says it's one game at a time. Every game can reap three points, the Italian stressed, and so each is an important as another.
"It’s one game at a time," he added. "If you remember, many times I said I know that during a season there are some games with different circumstances or history, but I don’t know if it’s right to say some are more or less important.
"At the end, they are all three points. Tomorrow’s game is most important. After tomorrow, we’ll think about the next game and then the next."
