The Foxes will be presented with the league trophy following their first-ever match on Filbert Way, which is set to bring the curtain down on an incredible title-winning campaign.

The Foxes camp

Leicester will be aiming to return to winning ways following last weekend's 1-0 reverse at Lewes Women - a first defeat in 13 league games.

The Foxes can reach a total of 50 points with a victory on Sunday and have so far scored half a century of goals in their 19 matches. Forward Natasha Flint is currently second in the Championship's top scorer charts, on 16 strikes, two behind Sheffield United's Katie Wilkinson.

There's still a Vitality Women's FA Cup Fifth Round tie with Manchester United to come in two weeks' time, but before then, City can celebrate their historic promotion to the Barclays FA Women's Super League.

Ones to watch

Jess King has been in good goalscoring form since signing from Lewes last summer, finding the net five times in 18 Championship appearances, including the only goal away at Blackburn Rovers to secure the club's first win of the season. The 28-year-old forward started her career at Liverpool and also played for Everton before plying her trade abroad with FC Basel, FF USV Jena and Kolbotn IL.

Alongside King as Charlton's joint-top scorer is versatile midfielder Lois Heuchan. The former Scotland youth international played college football for the University of Kansas before signing for French side Le Havre for the 2018/19 season. The 25-year-old is now into her second season with the Addicks and has played more minutes than any other Charlton player in 2020/21.

Opposition form guide

Charlton have enjoyed an impressive run of form since Karen Hills took over as manager in March 2021, remaining undefeated in all competitions since her arrival. Following back-to-back draws with Crystal Palace and London City Lionesses, they sealed their first win under Hill by beating London Bees 3-1.

They secured a 2-1 victory over second-place Durham last time out, thanks to goals from Beth Lumsden and Jess King, rising up to seventh in the second tier standings in the process. The Addicks are also through to the Vitality Women's FA Cup Fifth Round after a 2-1 win over Oxford United in extra-time.

Talking points

Manager Jonathan Morgan on playing at King Power Stadium for the first time: "It's massive. It's a historic moment for us, for the girls, to play at King Power Stadium. It's just another fantastic gesture and intention shown by the Club and the girls are relishing the opportunity and just thankful to be allowed to play in the stadium and hopefully many more times in the future as well."

LCFC Women midfielder Lia Cataldo reflects on the promotion-winning season as a whole: "There's been a lot of challenges but I think as a team we've dealt with those really well and, to get to where we are now, that's been the aim all season throughout. All we've ever said is to get that promotion and we will do whatever it takes to get there and you can see that."

Last time out

City were 2-0 victors when they travelled to The Oakwood in December 2020, earning all three points thanks to goals in each half from Natasha Flint and Remi Allen, following a red card for Charlton's Ella Rutherford, to keep the Foxes at the Championship's summit for a second successive week.
