- Stephy Mavididi takes stock on Leicester City's 2-1 victory at QPR- The talented forward struck for the Foxes in the first half, before Harry Winks' winner- He says the support of the travelling fans helped City over the line in the capital
The exciting winger's deflected effort put City in front early on at MATRADE Loftus Road Stadium on Saturday, before Andre Dozzell levelled matters later in the first half.
Dozzell's second-half dismissal and a sumptuous strike from Harry Winks helped Leicester to a 13th Sky Bet Championship victory in 14 matches, further extending their Club-record away winning run to seven matches.
Enzo Maresca's men are now also level with an all-time LCFC record of nine consecutive league wins after marking a startling start to life back in the second tier. They're five points clear of second and 14 ahead of third after 14 games.
"Me personally, I'm feeling good," Mavididi said at full-time in west London. "It's been a while since I've scored my last goal, but no, we're all happy, the spirit's high. We just wanted to continue what we've been doing, so everyone's buzzing.
"To be fair, we were expecting them to come out and play this way. Obviously, it was difficult, so we had to be really patient, keep moving the ball and find the spaces for us to attack and we did that with the two goals, and we're happy with the victory."
City had to battle through adversity during Saturday's clash with the Hoops, but with the backing of 2,764 members of the Blue Army, Mavididi and co. delivered another three points.
"Yes, it was hostile," he added. "Coming here is a difficult place, but obviously with our fans behind us, we found the extra edge, and we managed to be patient and break them down and come away with the three points."
