Moore, 19, opened the scoring for the Belgian outfit in the 74th minute at King Power at Den Dreef Stadium before Yannick Aguemon made sure of the result in added time. The City Academy product, who captained the Development Squad last term, has been a hit since agreeing a five-month loan spell in August, scoring twice and starting every match. Meanwhile, 2016/17 Development Squad Player of the Season, Harvey Barnes, 19, emerged from the bench in the 71st minute in Barnsley’s 1-1 draw with Preston North End on Saturday afternoon. Just two minutes after former Cork City striker Sean Maguire's opener for the hosts at Deepdale, Brad Potts bundled home the Tykes' equaliser before the half-hour mark.
Barnsley, managed by Paul Heckingbottom, sit 15th in the Sky Bet Championship. Barnes, who netted against Sunderland last month, scored five goals on loan at League 1 outfit MK Dons last term.
Also on Saturday, midfielder Nampalys Mendy, 25, made a 15-minute cameo for Nice to help Les Aiglons secure a stunning 4-0 victory over French champions Monaco. Mario Balotelli scored twice while Alassane Plea and Ignatius Ganago struck once apiece to bring Monaco's 100 per cent winning start to the new season to an abrupt halt.
Mendy, who will remain in France for the 2017/18 season, played every game for the Ligue 1 side in the 2015/16 season as they finished fourth in Ligue 1 before signing for City last summer.
Defender Callum Elder, at Wigan Athletic, and midfielder Bartosz Kapustka, on loan with SC Freiburg, did not feature. Stay updated on the progress of the Club's loan stars every week on LCFC.com.
