- LCFC Women take on league leaders Liverpool at Farley Way Stadium on Sunday (2pm kick-off)- Manager Jonathan Morgan wants City to put in an improved performance after a 2-2 draw with Durham- The Foxes could welcome back Annabel Blanchard to the squad after injury, Morgan reveals- The behind-closed-doors FA Women's Championship clash will be streamed live on The FA Player
Like Leicester, the league leaders travel to Quorn unbeaten so far this campaign, but Morgan wants City to concentrate on their own game, rather than the opposition.
He believes City's quality in attacking areas can cause the away side problems, if they put into practice what they have worked on in training this week.
"We've had a good week, we regrouped from the Durham game and we've turned our attention to Liverpool," Morgan told LCFC.com ahead of the match. "Most importantly, we wanted to focus on our game, not Liverpool's and try to execute things that we want to work on.
"We think any combination of attacking players we put out there should be able to create opportunities and score goals.
"What we're starting to see is that our midfielders are chipping in with goals as well, which is a brilliant feeling.
"But whichever attacking pair that we line up with, we expect them to get on the scoresheet every game and that's their own individual expectation as well.
"Obviously we've also looked at Liverpool to see what they do and how they do it so we'll have an understanding of what they want to do.
"We're looking forward to it and hopefully it will be a brilliant game."
Following last weekend's 2-2 draw with Durham, during which substitute Lachante Paul scored an injury-time equaliser, Morgan expressed how every member of the squad will have a part to play and that the collective drive to improve is pushing the team on. "Sometimes the game doesn't go a certain way for a reason or it might just be one of those days," he explained.
"Especially when you're an attacker, sometimes it's just not happening for you and it's really important that we have players that can come off the bench to support the starting XI.
"Before every game, we talk about the starters, the finishers and the supporters and we explain how every player has a role throughout the game.
"Each role is just as important as the next to help us get the three points as a squad.
"Our defence is very strong, very physical, we have a very good understanding in the backline but we want to be better.
"We know that we have to be better to play a team like Liverpool. But we go again, we've re-focused and we know the players that are starting in the backline are going to be just as important and just as strong as ever.
"The reality is we've played back-to-back what will probably be the top four teams in the league - ourselves, Liverpool, Durham and Sheffield United and we've not lost to any title rivals yet.
"We expect to make that the same against Liverpool and hopefully pick up the points elsewhere as we get to play the other teams in the league."
The Foxes will remain without captain Holly Morgan due to a foot injury, while midfielder Freya Thomas is also a doubt after picking up a knock in training. Forward Hannah Cain remains City's only long-term absentee with a broken foot, but there is good news in that former Liverpool midfielder Annabel Blanchard is in contention to make the squad for the first time since the opening day victory over Blackburn Rovers. Morgan added: "We've still got Holly [Morgan] out as well, I think she's out for another two weeks so we're hoping to get her back soon just to add a little bit to the backline again.
"Annabel [Blanchard] trained this week, which is good, but Freya Thomas looks like she's picked up a knock in training this week so we're just monitoring that before the game.
"And obviously Hannah [Cain] is our long-term injury, but other than that, we're hoping that we should have a full squad to pick from."
