**Jim Donnelly**Supporter Relations and Accessibility Manager
I feel very lucky to work here and the role I’m currently in means I get to interact with the Club’s supporters, so it’s a very privileged position.
I first started out as a Fox Travel steward, with my first journey being on a coach to Atletico Madrid in 1997 for a UEFA Cup match and it took us four days to get there and back. It was an incredible time and it’s fair to say I’ve been bitten by the bug!
From there I went on to work in the Ticket Office for several years and then in 2011 I was given the chance to work on what we used to call Fanzone, which has now rebranded to LCFC Help. It’s a supporter line for any queries and other general information. I’m always available to speak to fans and to meet them or talk to them over the phone or via email. I aim to help any supporter in need.
There is an incredibly special feel to this Football Club, especially over the past 10 years. The Club has grown from strength to strength and we’re all one big family.
Jade MorganLCFC Women General Manager
The purpose of my role is to manage all aspects of LCFC Women, including its personnel, commercial development and professional day-to-day management, while working closely with LCFC to align and consolidate the women’s team.
The diversity of my role ensures that no two days are the same. It is always changing and always evolving. Some days I can be busy at my desk, the next I can be outside embarking on some operational needs must! The freedom, trust and autonomy given to me by the Club is rewarding.
The best part of my role for me is game day, that moment before kick-off is a special feeling. It is a time to reflect on all the hard work, preparations, planning and the highs and lows from previous weeks – which all add up to this very moment. Whatever happens, nothing beats the emotions of game day and the achievements in helping to get the team prepared.
As a new business unit to LCFC we are at the start of our organisational lifecycle - the Club has shown great commitment and desire to really push the women’s game in Leicestershire and wider community. That bodes so much inspiration and opportunity, and with the transition, there has been tremendous satisfaction in working with the various Heads of Departments, forging new, exciting relationships and understanding the culture and workings of the Club. I am truly inspired by the new challenges and increased motivation to problem solve and find solutions.
Lucy RobinsHR Business Partner and Equality Lead
I enjoy working with a wide variety of people at Leicester City, people from all kinds of different backgrounds and experiences, which makes for an interesting team.
I joined the Club in 2015 and started out as part-time HR Manager. I then had a period of maternity leave before coming back as Equality and Diversity Manager because that was such a strong focus of the Club to achieve the Premier League Equality Standard. We now have an Equality Working Group and I’ve moved into a HR Business Partner role but am still the equality lead for the Club.
The Club has been really supportive in flexible working to allow me to carry on with my role, manage my workload and manage my ever-changing requirements and responsibilities outside of work. My working patterns have changed a few times over the past couple of years and the Club have always been supportive in how I’ve been able to deliver my role and the projects I focus on.
Patrick CoxInclusion Coach
As an Inclusion Coach my role is all about going into the community and delivering sports sessions. The variety of my delivery and the people I meet are the best parts about my role.
I started out as a participant on Leicester City in the Community’s Leadership Programme in 2017, of which I now run, and then after that I volunteered and did some casual work, which has turned into full-time employment.
This is my dream job, I’m a Leicester City supporter and I work for the Club, so it doesn’t get much better than that for me! My progression from when I first started to where I am now has been immense and all of the opportunities I’ve had have been so beneficial because they’ve made me a better person and a better professional.
Leicester City’s presence in the community is huge and the Club has such a good reputation. The participants I work with are always so excited to be associated with the Club’s badge and it makes me feel very inspired.
Jo SjobergRegional Talent Club Centre Manager
It’s special for me to work here because I have a family history with the Club in the fact that my Father-in-law, John Sjoberg, played over 400 games for Leicester City, so it’s a privilege to be involved with something that your family has been a part of.
I started working here about seven seasons ago and started out as the Club Manager for Leicester City Girls’ Centre of Excellence as it was called at the time, but it’s now called the Girls Regional Talent Club. The RTC is part of the England female talent pathway and we identify young and talented females and put them into a development programme to try and produce the next England players, but also to try and develop everyone to their full potential.
That became a full-time position and I also took on a second role of being involved in the Then, Now and Forever programme, which is aimed at the older members of our community where we try and reach out to people at risk of being socially isolated.
There is very much a family feel to this Football Club and everyone is very supportive. I’ve held a number roles here now and within each one I’ve received the same level of support from different people.
Reuben WalkerFirst Team Masseur
Leicester City is a great Club to be at and everyone is so polite, encouraging and supportive, and you’re able to get help not just from your own staff but from other people as well.
I started as a voluntary masseur in 2015 with the Under-23 team on matchdays, and from there progressed to the First Team.
The support I’ve had in terms of my own development has been brilliant. I’ve been able to learn a lot from the physios and the other masseurs that are here, and there’s also opportunities for me to continue to progress and improve my own skills as a masseur.
