Following a period of growth, Leicester City Football Club is recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk to process all purchase in invoices and handle daily supplier queries.
About The Role
Based at King Power Stadium, the key duties of this role include:- Logging all invoices received daily by post and email- Matching all logged invoices to purchase orders where possible and sending onto the correct person if unable to match- Scanning all invoices received daily- Developing and understanding of how different invoices are processed, what expectations exist and who the appropriate budget holders are- Reviewing supplier statements and dealing with supplier query resolution over the phone and via email
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar purchase ledger role. They will have excellent accuracy and attention to detail. They will be friendly, well organised with the ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure. They will have the ability to work autonomously on their own initiative, be pro-active in managing one’s own time, and will build an understanding of the internal and external environment in order to deliver work in a highly effective and professional manner.
