Claudio Ranieri says he will evaluate the fitness of his squad after playing two matches in four days ahead of the on Sunday afternoon (4pm kick-off).
The Foxes battled to a on Wednesday night to book an Emirates FA Cup fifth round tie away at Millwall later this month but Ranieri insists the focus is now fully on getting three points at the Liberty Stadium.
The City boss, addressing the national media on Friday morning, hopes to have Islam Slimani available in south Wales but admits the clash is likely to come too soon for Leonardo Ulloa who is continuing his recovery from a muscular injury sustained last month.
Ranieri was delighted with the performances of many against the Rams at King Power Stadium after handing Yohan Benalouane and Bartosz Kapustka their first first-team starts of the season, after making 10 changes to his line-up from the loss to Manchester United.
“It was a good match,” he said. “The players who didn’t play so far this season showed a very good performance. Now the focus is on the next match.”
Asked if there were any fresh injury concerns for the match against Paul Clement’s men on Sunday, Ranieri added: “I think no, I will check today and tomorrow but I think everybody will be available.
“Leo is not yet [ready]. He is getting better. The same for Slimani. I don’t know how many minutes he can play because he is not 100 per cent. Leo, too, but he is getting better slowly, slowly.”
Quizzed on the displays of Kapustka, Benalouane and Marcin Wasilewski, Ranieri revealed he was delighted with their efforts and called upon them to continue challenging for a place in his starting line-up.
He continued: “They must continue in this way because I need all my players. All my players must be ready because, sooner or later, I will need them.”
