Claudio Ranieri wants Leicester City to ride the wave of optimism created by the into Sunday’s clash with Swansea City (4pm kick-off). 
The Foxes dispatched East Midlands rivals Derby 3-1 after extra-time at King Power Stadium to reach the and Ranieri hopes his side can use it a springboard in the Premier League. 
The Swans fell to a disheartening 2-1 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium last time around but have improved in recent weeks under the guidance of new manager Paul Clement, winning three in five matches.
Ranieri said: “They changed their manager and they play very well. It will be a tough match for us. This season, we have scored very few goals but to score three goals in one match was amazing. I hope this can be the future. 
“They are very good team because they move the ball quickly. There are some good players in good condition. For us it is very important to play with the brain and with our quality to make something good.
The City boss also praised Clement’s impact at the Liberty Stadium after the former Derby manager replaced Bob Bradley in south Wales over the New Year and helped spark a notable upturn in form.  
“When he came, they changed totally,” Ranieri added. “There is a very good shape, they know what they have to do and how to do it. They have a good shape, they attack together, defend together.
“It is one of our important matches from now until the end - we have to achieve our points. I am confident with our players, always. To win in the FA Cup gave us confidence but we have to keep going.”
