- Leicester City host Arsenal at King Power Stadium on Saturday (5:30pm GMT kick-off)- The Foxes have won their last four matches in a row in all competitions- Rodgers insists this match is no different to any other for City- Live coverage begins at 2:30pm on LCFC Radio, available for free online
The Gunners visit King Power Stadium currently trailing City by six points, following an excellent start to the new season by Rodgers' men.
However, despite the chance to open a nine-point gap, the Northern Irishman insists the Foxes are approaching Saturday's 5:30pm kick-off on Filbert Way like any other match.
"We treat every game as a big game," Rodgers told the national media on Thursday afternoon. "Like I said before, every game is a cup final for us.
"We go in with maximum intensity to fight, to run, and again, we’re going to have to be at our very best to get a result.
"I don’t think the game needs magnifying any more than it already is. It’s a wonderful game for us."
Rodgers is also pleased that City will return to King Power Stadium for the first time in three matches in all competitions.
With the Blue Army's support, the former Liverpool and Celtic manager believes Leicester have a chance to secure a positive result on Saturday.
"Like I said, we’re happy to be at home, we’ve been away now for a number of our games recently, so it’s going to be great to get back in front of our supporters and feel that support," he added.
"Like I said, play with an intensity in the game that hopefully they can enjoy and then we’ll see where it takes us."
