- LCFC Women’s next post-16 Talent ID day take places on Monday 11 April- A Dual Career Pathway with an education provider is part of the offering- Talent ID days include a tour of Loughborough College and training at Belvoir Drive- Girls aged 16-21 can register their interest by signing up via the form HERE

A highly successful inaugural season for the new LCFC Women Academy has so far seen four first team debuts handed out and an excellent run to the final of the WSL Academy Plate competition for the youngsters.

The Foxes will once again enter an Under-21s team into the WSL Academy League for 2022/23, coached by Academy Lead, Louis Sowe, while also competing in the FA Women’s National League Midlands Reserve Division with an Under-18s side.

The elite training facilities on offer at Belvoir Drive include use of several grass pitches, the indoor dome, an outdoor 3G pitch, an equipment gym and analysis and education rooms - all on site.

This ensures there is a comprehensive games programme across the season, alongside full-time training, which features four on-pitch sessions each week.

As a Dual Careers Pathway with education provider Loughborough College, the system provides players with the opportunity to study a range of subjects in BTEC courses and A-Levels, as well as degrees.

The academic timetable is designed to work alongside football commitments, with accommodation provided onsite at Loughborough College, if required.

Logistical support to transport players to and from training and games is also available, while highly skilled and experienced coaches and support staff are on hand to assist.
