- Fantasy Premier League returns this week after three months away!- Players have until 5pm on Wednesday to make changes to their line-ups- Gerry Taggart has transformed his side with unlimited transfers available this week- Kasper Schmeichel, James Maddison and Jamie Vardy are in the Northern Irishman's team

Three months following the last gameweek on the platform, due to the suspension of Premier League football in response to COVID-19, FPL returns this weekend.

With each match being played behind closed doors and broadcast on TV in the UK, FPL managers have more scope to scout players and gain an advantage on rivals this summer.

With unlimited transfers made available to the millions of FPL players around the world, Taggart was no different in looking to transform his side ahead of the final run in.

As Gameweek 30+ is a double gameweek, meanwhile, potentially drawing in additional points from four mid-week fixtures before the weekend's matches, Gerry has picked carefully.

Five of the Northern Irishman's new-look line-up could feature in two matches over the next six days, with Arsenal, Manchester City, Aston Villa and Sheffield United players now included.

Elsewhere, Taggart will be keeping one eye on the prospects of substitutes Dean Henderson, Eddie Nketiah, Jack O'Connell and Jack Grealish after utilising his 'bench boost' chip.

On the Leicester City front, on the other hand, the former Foxes defender has backed goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, midfielder James Maddison and striker Jamie Vardy to perform.

Brendan Rodgers' men travel to Hertfordshire on Saturday afternoon for their first game of the resumed campaign against Watford at Vicarage Road (12:30pm kick-off).

The deadline to make changes to your line-up is 5pm on Wednesday evening, one hour ahead of the maiden match of the new run of fixtures - Aston Villa vs. Sheffield United.
