- Leicester City entertain West Ham United in the Premier League on Sunday (12pm kick-off)- The Foxes have won their opening three games in the top flight for the first time- West Ham defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 last time out at London Stadium- Live coverage of the game begins at 10:30am on LCFC TV and LCFC Radio
The Foxes have bolstered their squad with the additions of Cengiz Ünder and Wesley Fofana, while the Hammers have also strengthened with the acquisition of Czech Republic international Vladimír Coufal.
Speaking ahead of the game, a 12pm kick-off on Filbert Way, four key figures for both sides - Brendan Rodgers, Papy Mendy, Alan Irvine and Tomáš Souček - have been speaking in the media...
Brendan Rodgers on City's start and West Ham: "The boys, since the first game, have been very positive. We’ve scored goals, defensively we’ve been very good, and we’re looking to get three points from the next game. I’m very confident that the longer David and his staff are there, then the more they will grow. David is a proven manager. Alan [Irvine] and Stu [Pearce] are fantastic coaches. Once they can get their teeth into a consistent group and get that organisation and template of how they work, West Ham will continue to grow. They played very well in the game against Arsenal, they were difficult to beat, and it was unfortunate. They had speed on the counter attack against Wolves, it was a fantastic result."
West Ham assistant manager Alan Irvine, addressing the media on Friday, said: "It is a huge test. Obviously Leicester have started the season extremely well and have a lot of very talented players. They have a lot of pace in their team and it will be a real test going there. It's exactly the same as Wolves was though, and Arsenal the week before. Everybody saw the fixtures when they came out and went 'oh, they look difficult', but then any fixture is in the Premier League. If we have the same level of performance as we had in the last two Premier League games then we will be competitive."
Foxes midfielder Papy Mendy tells LCFC TV about the confidence in the Leicester squad at present: "The mood is very good. Everyone is smiling. We want to work more and perform every weekend. We have to think about the next game now. It’s coming quickly and we’ll be playing against a good team whose confidence is high because they won their last game. We have to be ready for that. This is very good for the confidence because we beat a big team, with some good players, 5-2. We played very good and we showed how we can adapt our play when we play against different teams and that’s good for the future."
Tomáš Souček, speaking to whufc.com, on the arrival of Czech team-mate Vladimir Coufal: "I am looking forward to seeing him play for West Ham, because I think he has all of the qualities that are needed to play in the Premier League – he is very strong, plays with intensity and is very consistent. He also likes to run a lot, like me, because he is up and down on the right side, maybe 11-12km minimum every match. He is a very modern right-back. Vladimir is also a very good guy, with a nice character – I’m sure he will fit in very well in the changing room and everyone here will like him. It is good for him that I am here, so I can help him settle in to life here, but it is also good for me to have him here."
