Who's in contention to play?
Asked about Jamie Vardy's fitness after a hernia operation, Brendan Rodgers said on Friday: "Jamie's six days post-operation. Having been sore initially after the operation, I saw him after training in the gym today, so he’s progressing really well. We’re on schedule to meet the deadline we’ve got. We were looking to hopefully get him training towards 10 days (after the operation), so he’s on course for that. We’re just looking closely at his rehabilitation. He’s progressed really well over these last few days. We haven’t earmarked a game yet (for a return), but we’ll look more closely at that next week." On Wilfred Ndidi (hamstring) and Jonny Evans (vision), he added: "It’s just a slight tear (for Ndidi). He will be [out for] a week to 10 days, which is unfortunate, but sometimes hamstrings can be much longer than that. Thankfully, it's probably the lowest grade that you could get. He should be back fairly soon. Jonny’s fine. It’s been an ongoing issue with him for a little while, but he’ll be fine." Marcelo Bielsa, meanwhile, also provided a fitness update on his Leeds squad: "Diego Llorente has a muscular injury and he will be out of the team for three or four weeks. We’re all trying to help him and support him through this injury. After every game there is always knocks. As the game gets closer we find out the severity on whether they will be able to play in this game. At the moment, there are no new players with any injuries."
What happened last time?
Leicester produced a stunning away performance on 2 November to win at Elland Road 4-1, extending their perfect start to the season on the road. Harvey Barnes and Youri Tielemans put City in control inside the opening 21 minutes, before the Foxes were pegged back immediately after the break by Stuart Dallas. But Jamie Vardy's trike and Tielemans' second - from the penalty spot - ensured a winning trip to Yorkshire for Leicester, who had won all their away games in 2020/21 up until that point.
When can I catch match highlights?
Approximately two hours after full-time, you can access a two-minute highlights package on LCFC TV - available for free to Digital Members on the Club's official website (free sign-up). Short clips will also be available on Leicester City's official social media channels, while a full highlights video will be published on LCFC.com at midnight following the fixture. Please note that in the interests of safety, Leicester City’s fixtures will continue to be played behind closed doors. To ensure matches can still go ahead and to help control the spread of COVID-19, the Football Club kindly asks its supporters to continue to follow their team from home and not to gather at any stadia.
