What's the injury news?
"There’s nothing new, other than the same squad being available," Brendan Rodgers told the media at LCFC Training Ground on Wednesday. "We’ve had a slight setback with Harvey [Barnes]. He’s just gone in to have a second, minor operation, just to clear up some of the damage in his knee. "It will probably rule him out for the rest of the season, but the plan is really to get him through this second little operation and then he’ll be back for pre-season and fit and ready for next season."
What happened last time?
Leicester took all three points from the last Premier League meeting between the two sides, at King Power Stadium in January 2021. James Maddison's first-half opener was followed by Harvey Barnes' late second, to wrap up a 2-0 victory for the Foxes. Brendan Rodgers' side also came out on top in the Emirates FA Cup Semi-Final meeting at Wembley Stadium on 18 April as Kelechi Iheanacho scored the only goal of the game to seal progression into the final. When can I catch match highlights?
A two-minute highlights package will be available for supporters to access on LCFC TV approximately two hours after full-time, which is available for free to Digital Members on the Club's official website (free sign-up). A full highlights video will be published on LCFC.com at midnight following the fixture. Please note that in the interests of safety, Leicester City’s fixtures will continue to be played behind closed doors. To ensure matches can still go ahead and to help control the spread of COVID-19, the Football Club kindly asks its supporters to continue to follow their team from home and not to gather at any stadia.
