Founded in 1997, their main aim is to highlight the needs of supporters with disabilities and, with this goal in mind, the LCFC DSA has built a strong working relationship with the Football Club.
It is the LCFC DSA’s ambition to ensure all supporters are treated equally at King Power Stadium and all other LCFC sites. Raising awareness and seeking equality for all supporters with visible and hidden disabilities is always a primary thought for LCFC DSA, who represent their members during regular discussions with the Club.
They work closely with Leicester City on a range of areas and help LCFC to be fully compliant with disability legislation. The Club’s Disability Liaison Officer, Anna Dickman, and wider staff team, hold regular meetings with the LCFC DSA to ensure they continue to play a role in helping City’s offering to supporters with disabilities in an ever-changing world.
The DSA also provides its members with advice and support by liaising with the Club on a range of topics which affect its members – and they also hold social events, including quiz nights and other activities around matchdays on Filbert Way.
Becoming an LCFC DSA member is easy, includes a wealth of benefits (including membership cards, gifts and opportunities) and brings you closer to your Football Club. You do not need to have a disability to become a member – and, by doing so, you will be joining a community of lifelong Foxes fans who are determined to improve the lives of supporters with disabilities.
For all Leicester City accessibility and disability enquiries, please call Anna Dickman on 0116 229 4540 or email disability@lcfc.co.uk. To express an interest in joining the LCFC DSA, please contact lcfcdsa@gmail.com. Alternatively, you can visit www.lcfcdsa.com for more information.
