Following the conclusion of the recent international break, domestic duty has returned across Europe, resulting in four Leicester City players getting game time away from the Club as they spend the 2023/24 season away from Leicestershire on loan.

Former Under-21s' captain Brunt is one of those players, who is currently spending the term with Sky Bet League 2 side Mansfield, who most recently took on, and beat, Harrogate Town 4-1 at the EnviroVent Stadium. The defender opened the scoring just eight minutes in on Tuesday night.

A brace from Lucas Akins and a late strike from George Maris confirmed victory against the Sulphurites, maintaining their unbeaten start to the season after 14 games. Only Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Portsmouth, who are top of Sky Bet League 1 can also boast that record.

Over in Italy, Victor Kristiansen has also been in action, coming on as a second-half substitute in Bologna's 2-1 win over Frosinone last Sunday. Lewis Ferguson and Lorenzo De Silvestri made it 2-0 just after 20 minutes, as the Danish full-back was brought on to see out a win that keeps Bologna eighth in Serie A with 14 points, right behind José Mourinho's Roma.

Soumaré has had a busy week following the international break, first of all when his Sevilla side drew 1-1 with Real Madrid last weekend in La Liga as a David Alaba own goal ensured a point against the leaders.

More recently, Soumaré played another full 90 against Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League, as Sevilla were beaten 2-1 after goals in either half from Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus on Tuesday evening.

The final Fox to hit the pitch on loan this week was left-back Thomas, who played the full game as Sheffield United's Premier League campaign continued with a 2-1 home loss at the hands of Manchester United after a second-half winner from Diogo following Oliver McBurnie's penalty. Scott McTominay opened the scoring for the Red Devils.

Elsewhere, Nathan Opoku's OH Leuven beat St-Truiden 4-1 to get their third win of the season, as he remains on the sidelines with injury, while Zach Booth's FC Volendam were beaten 2-1 by RKC Waalwijk, but the young American forward has not featured since early October for the Eredivisie club.
