- Young Leicester City fans Elliott and Felix win the Club's Up For The Cup competition- Their homemade FA Cup trophy was chosen by the Blue Army to win a very special prize- A signed and framed Leicester City shirt with 'Wembley 21' personalisation was delivered this week- The Foxes face Chelsea in the final of the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday (5:15pm BST kick-off)
With the help of father Toby, brothers Elliott, 11, and Felix, 9, designed and built their very own FA Cup trophy before entering the Club's Up For The Cup competition to win a signed and framed Leicester City 2020/21 adidas home shirt - finished with 'Wembley 21' on the reverse.
After making the shortlist for a public vote - decided by Filbert Fox himself - their effort was pitted against several other brilliant homemade FA Cups, but took home the prize after thousands of Foxes fans selected their favourite on LCFC.com earlier this month. Built using a combination of old jugs, wire coat hangers and even dog bowls, Elliott and Felix's trophy was the winner in the supporter vote - and they were presented with the signed shirt this week - just in time for City's final clash with Chelsea on Saturday! "We are all over the moon with the signed shirt, it’s a treasure we will always keep safe," dad Toby told LCFC.com. "Hopefully it will be a memory of the year that Leicester City finally won the FA Cup! "As a family, we have always been massive fans of the FA Cup and, as parents, we’ve always tried to share how special it is with the boys, going to as many games as we can each year.
"We decided we must enter Filbert’s homemade cup competition and Elliott came up with the idea of having the club badge coming through pretend Fox scratches on the cup. We didn’t want to tempt fate by putting winners ribbons on it quite yet!"
