The day marks what would have been Khun Vichai’s 65th birthday, with a private ceremony due to take place in the morning before the garden reopens to the public ahead of the fixture with Aston Villa at King Power Stadium that evening.
The Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Memorial Garden opened in 2019 in memory of late Chairman Khun Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, Kaveporn Punpare, Nusara Suknamai, Eric Swaffer and Izabela Lechowicz – who all tragically lost their lives on 27 October, 2018.
To mark Khun Vichai’s birthday, the Club is continuing the late Chairman’s tradition of offering free beer or water and cake to ticket-holding home supporters ahead of the match with Aston Villa, which can be collected outside King Power Stadium from 5pm on Tuesday 4 April.
