The Foxes travel to Reading on Sunday (2pm kick-off) in search of three points, and a first win in the Barclays Women’s Super League.

Following the loss to Liverpool in Wednesday’s Continental Tyres League Cup game, the winger spoke about the camp’s attitude to an important fixture this weekend.

“We’re going into it like we do every other game, hoping to take three points,” said Goodwin. “We prepare the same and go in with the game plan that we put out.

“The past few weeks, we’ve been building on what we’ve done so far, and each week there’s always positives. We know that Reading can hurt teams towards latter stages of games. They can pose a threat but if we stick to the gameplan, we can get the points”

Also looking for their first win of the season, the Foxes' midfielder stated how important it is to be ready for this weekend's WSL battle with Reading.

Goodwin added: “In past games, we’ve been unlucky not to get more out of them, but when we get that first win, the confidence will flow.

“We’re just focusing on ourselves, and how we can compose Reading’s threats, but the majority is focusing on ourselves and what danger we can cause. Of course three points are always nice, but we prepare for it like we do every game.”
