There are countless memories for the Blue Army to look back on over the last decade-and-a-half, from League 1 and Championship promotions as champions under Nigel Pearson, to defeating Manchester United in one of the Club’s first home games back in the top flight.
The greatest of escapes at the end of that 2014/15 campaign also features, with City legends such as Esteban Cambiasso playing their part in ensuring the Foxes retained Premier League status.
No one will ever forget the most glorious season in Leicester City’s history, when despite odds of 5,000/1, the Club claimed the Premier League trophy for the first time, to acclaim from across the world. A carnival atmosphere was present on that day in May 2016, with a performance from Andrea Bocelli preceding the trophy lift at King Power Stadium.
An open top bus parade through the city helped celebrate the feat, as Claudio Ranieri and his side basked in the glory of what they had achieved in front of hundreds of thousands of City supporters, who lined the streets of Leicester before packing out Victoria Park for a special celebration.
League success brought Leicester onto the world stage, competing in the International Champions Cup against the likes of FC Barcelona. UEFA Champions League football followed in the succeeding campaign, another first for the Foxes, who reached the quarter-finals of the competition.
Below we recount those fond memories and more in image form…
