Following a tight first half, the young Foxes fell behind to Jaden Thompson-Brissett’s 57th minute strike, an effort which ultimately sealed all three points for the Canaries.
It proved to be just City’s third defeat of the 2017/18 campaign but it is a result which sees them drop to third, below Arsenal by a margin of two points, with 20 points from 11 games.
Trevor Peake’s side now have an extended Christmas break to look forward to with their next PLU18 South fixture coming on Saturday 6 January for the visit of Tottenham Hotspur to Belvoir Drive.
Meanwhile, Leicester’s youngsters have been drawn against Nottingham Forest in the Fourth Round of the FA Youth Cup.
Following a 2-1 extra-time success at Portsmouth on Tuesday night, the Club’s Under-18s are scheduled to play their Fourth Round tie before Saturday 20 January.
Kairo Edwards-John netted twice for the young Foxes at Fratton Park as Peake’s crop continued their sterling start to the 2017/18 campaign against the Sky Bet League 1 side.
The Club’s Development Squad, meanwhile, have been drawn against Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park in Round 3 of the Checkatrade Trophy.
