On the eve of transfer deadline day, the Morocco attacking midfielder penned a four-year deal at the Club to add some extra firepower to Steve Cooper's offensive options in the East Midlands.
City's new No.11 can't wait to get started, with the 20-year-old already looking ahead to his debut with the Foxes. Speaking inside The Box in Seagrave, the former Genk star outlined his sense of excitement to be the latest Leicester signing.
"I’m so happy to be a part of this beautiful club," he said. "I think I made a good step to grow as a player and I’m very excited to start with my new team-mates. I talked to the Manager and to some people from the Club – and I talked also to some players who played here in the past. I’m very happy with my choice and I hope to make big things with this Club.

"I’m excited to train for the first time and play my first game for this beautiful Club.
"The facilities are incredible. I spoke to the Manager a week ago. I met him yesterday when I arrived. I have a really good feeling and I hope to make big things here. I’m excited to start."
El Khannouss is confident that he'll settle in quickly with Leicester City, pointing to some new team-mates he's encountered before and explaining his excitement to link up with the likes of Jamie Vardy.

"I know there’s one Belgian guy here, Wout Faes, but I also know the right-winger, [Abdul] Fatawu]," he added. "I played against him last year in the Africa Cup of Nations U23s. The striker Jamie Vardy… everybody knows him!
"I’m a technical player. I like to be on the ball and, for sure, with the players I will have around me, like Fatawu, like Vardy, there’s a lot of creative players. I think we can make beautiful things together.
"I had a very good bond with my previous fans from Genk. They are like a family, really good together, and I think when the fans are all together with the team, it helps. I think all together we can achieve big things."
