Bilal El Khannouss played his part in Morocco's Africa Cup of Nations victory
The hosts are through to the quarter-finals after a win over Tanzania
Woyo Coulibaly played in Mali's last-16 win against Tunisia on penalties
The Eagles are also into the last-eight where they will face Senegal
After qualifying from Group A as winners and runners-ups respectively, both sides continue to progress in the tournament. Hosts Morocco beat Tanzania 1-0 on Sunday, with Brahim Diaz scoring the only goal of the game at Stade Prince Moulay Abdallah.
El Khannouss played 90 minutes in Rabat, with their reward now a last-eight clash with Cameroon at the same venue on Friday (7pm kick-off).
Mali, meanwhile, beat Tunisia 3-2 on penalties following a 1-1 draw at Stade Mohammed V. Woyo Coulibaly started the round of 16 victory, but was sent off 26 minutes in, with Lassine Sinayoko's injury-time penalty taking the game to spot-kicks, after Firas Chaouat opened the scoring.
Up against Senegal next, it's a 4pm kick-off at Grand Stade de Tanger on Friday, though Coulibaly, currently with Sassuolo, will be suspended.
