Defender Asmita Ale joins LCFC Women on a permanent basis
The 22-year-old signs a three-year contract at King Power Stadium
Move made permanent after a successful loan spell with City
The 22-year-old signs a three-year-contract with the Foxes having impressed in the second half of the 2023/24 Barclays Women’s Super League season on loan from Spurs at King Power Stadium.
Speaking to LCFC.com, Ale said: “I am super pleased to be staying at the Club and it was an easy decision for me. There is so much opportunity to keep growing here and game-time is important at my age.
“I am already looking forward to next season. I can’t wait to be back out there with the team and show the fans what I can do. The Club is constantly growing, we have great ambition and I want to be part of that journey.”
A former England youth international, the tenacious defender returns to Leicestershire having made seven impressive appearances in all competitions for City last term.
Ale will now return to Belvoir Drive as a permanent LCFC Women player and link up with her team-mates again as they begin pre-season training later this summer.
