Despite numerous opportunities in front of goal, Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side were unable to find the net for the sixth successive Premier League fixture, while the visitors were much more clinical, with strikes from Rasmus Højlund, Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes wrapping up three points at King Power Stadium.

“It was a tough night for us to be honest,” the Zambia international reflected. I think we could have got something from this game. We had some chances which we didn’t capitalise on. We just need to keep working and keep fighting.
“It’s part of the game. We just need to continue to give everything. We have to do everything that we can to try and get that first goal. I think that’s what we are lacking – to get the ball into the net. That will change everything.
“We just need to force the luck and do everything that we can because it seems that nothing is really working but we cannot give up. We have to continue believing that things will change.”

The 26-year-old added: “I think we need to utilise this break and make sure that we come back fresh and stay healthy as much as possible. We just have to reflect, see what we can do better and hopefully it can help us to relax and come back stronger.
“Hopefully it will be a different period for us. We continue to lift each other up. We know that it’s not yet over until it’s over. We still have games to play and we will keep fighting until the last game.”
