The game will highlight our commitment to inclusivity and how we support fans with disabilities to enjoy the matchday experience at King Power Stadium.
Matchday Accessibility Features:
Dedicated Stewarding Team: On matchdays, a specialised team assists supporters with disabilities to ensure an enjoyable experience.
Wheelchair Accessibility: All areas of the stadium are accessible to wheelchair users, with designated spaces and wheelchair accessible turnstiles in all stands.
Accessible Toilets: Concourse areas are equipped with accessible toilets, accessible via RADAR keys available from stewards or staff members. There is also a changing facility located in the South Stand, please speak to a steward for assistance.
Sensory Packs: Include ear defenders, fidget spinners, sensory tangles and further matchday information, designed to create a more comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Audio Descriptive Service: Visually impaired fans can access headsets providing full descriptive commentary, available from the matchday staff entrance (located next to Gate 13 in the South Stand) 90 minutes before kick-off.
Access Cards: These help matchday stewards identify individuals who may require access to accessible entrances, toilets and seating. While designed to support fans with hidden disabilities, the cards are available to all supporters with a disability.
Catering: Available in every stand throughout the stadium and fitted with lower-level counters. Stewards can assist with ordering and transporting food and drink to designated seating areas.
Accessible Coach Travel: We also provide wheelchair accessible coach travel for all away fixtures throughout the season. This can be booked via our Sales Team on 0344 815 5000 (option 1).
Disability Support Association (DSA)
The LCFC DSA, established in 1997, is an independent, voluntary organisation dedicated to representing the interests of supporters with disabilities. The group works closely with the Club to enhance the matchday experience and promote equality, while assisting fans who have any kind of limiting disability to feel comfortable and that they are treated with respect and dignity.
They ensure members have the very best experience and like for like facilities at every game, be that home or away.
During the Disability Matters fixture, DSA members will be available in the Foxes Fanstore to discuss their work and provide information to supporters.
Powerchair Football
Leicester City in the Community offers a powerchair football programme, providing opportunities for individuals with physical disabilities to engage in competitive sport.
Training sessions are held every Wednesday from 4pm - 6pm at Huncote Leisure Centre.
