The unbeaten start to the season continued for the young Foxes in the capital as they swept aside the Blues in stunning fashion on matchday three of the 2024/25 campaign.
Chelsea got the scoring started just two minutes into the contest at Cobham Training Centre, Sol Gordon converting an early chance for the hosts. City didn't take long to equalise, with Kevon Gray the man to provide a leveller.
Landon Emenalo saw the Londoners move back ahead midway through the half, but in a topsy-turvy encounter, Kirsten Otchere's brace either side of half-time turned it around.
Laolu Omobolaji netted a fourth to put Leicester into a commanding position, and they weren't finished there. Jeremy Monga added gloss to the scoreline late on and saw the side coached by Adam Barradell head back to Leicestershire with another three points in the bag.
The Under-18s, currently second in the standings, behind leaders Tottenham Hotspur on goals scored, are next in action on Saturday 14 September when they host West Ham United at LCFC Training Ground (12pm BST kick-off).
The details...
City: Donohue, Aluko, Khela, Lawrence (Monga 46'), Diallo, Gray, Evans (Owusu 71'), Dyke, Otchere (Adedji 76'), Page, Omobolaji (De Lisle 87').
Sub not used: McNab.
Goals: Gray 12', Otchere 42', 69', Omobolaji 81', Monga 83'.
