The full meeting notes are available to read HERE. What has changed?
The Club provided updates on several initiatives that have been progressed following earlier consultation. These included:
Safe Standing: Now fully operational, with final tests under way during the opening games of the season.
Ticket Pricing: A four-tier model has been adopted, including the introduction of Category D Saturday fixtures.
Resale Platform: A new, enhanced ticket resale system will launch ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Youth & Schools Engagement: Outreach expanded beyond Leicester City to include County, Rutland and Oakham.
LCFC Women Focus: Audience development for the women’s game is now a standing agenda item.
Breakout Group Highlights
Two breakout groups – chaired by FAB Members Jo Lee and Ravi Tara - provided in-depth feedback on the following key areas:
Matchday Giveaways: General preference for non-alcoholic, family-friendly items such as flags, scarves and pin badges. Greater appetite for giveaways with cultural relevance or charitable links, particularly around festive periods.
Crowd Displays: Support for displays that are meaningful, inclusive, and enhance the matchday atmosphere. Calls for better clarity around whether displays are Club-led or fan-led, with some concern over visual obstructions caused by large displays.
LCFC Women’s Audience Growth: Matchdays seen as a welcoming and family-focused entry point for new fans. Suggestions included: ‘My First Match’ experiences, informal hospitality options, and stronger promotion of matchday facilities and activations.
A number of additional topics were also raised, including; fan communication, catering, facilities development and shirt sponsorship.
Looking Ahead
We will issue a survey to all FCC Working Group members to gather further feedback on the first year of meetings and inform future priorities.
