Play resumes in the Barclays Women’s Super League after the first international break of the calendar year, in which 13 Foxes joined up with their respected countries, with an early kick-off this Sunday of 12:30pm to face Man Utd.
Before this, City were on good form, beating Aston Villa 3-0 at King Power Stadium to leapfrog the Villans into 10th place. It was a win which put breathing distance of six points between them and bottom-placed Crystal Palace.
We came out victorious against Villa last time out.

This weekend’s hosts, however, will be no easy task, as Marc Skinner’s side are currently second in the standings, and on track for potentially their best finish in recent years.
Having lost just once this season, to current champions Chelsea back in November, top scorer Elisabeth Terland and co will be a force to be reckoned with, and Amandine Miquel’s side must be at the top of their game, if they are to take points from the Red Devils.
Purchased tickets
Tickets for this fixture are now off sale, and those who have purchased them, will receive mobile tickets this week prior to matchday at Leigh Sports Village.
