Leicester City host Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday
In the WSL, LCFC Women travel to meet Crystal Palace a day later
Our Under-18s also tackle the Saints in U18 Premier League South
The Foxes host the South Coast outfit in the Premier League as two already-relegated sides face off at King Power Stadium (3pm kick-off).
Under the interim management of Simon Rusk, Southampton picked up a 1-1 draw in their previous away fixture at West Ham United, and are now bidding to eclipse Derby County’s 2007/08 points tally – the lowest in Premier League history.
Hoping for a better result against Palace than the defeat suffered on Filbert Way earlier this season.
As for Leicester, we have our own unwanted record to end, having not scored in nine consecutive home league matches; a 1-0 loss to Liverpool on Easter Sunday – which confirmed our place in the Sky Bet Championship for 2025/26 - extending that streak.
The following day, there’s Barclays Women’s Super League action for LCFC Women, who head to the capital to take on Crystal Palace at VBS Community Stadium at 2pm.
The Foxes’ status in the top division of women’s football was secured last weekend, with the Eagles dropping back into the Barclays Women’s Championship following defeat to West Ham.
Amandine Miquel’s side still have plenty to play for in the remaining two fixtures, however, aiming to achieve our highest-ever WSL points tally of 18 and finish as high as possible, with Aston Villa sitting in 10th, only ahead of City on goal difference.
Battling in the reverse fixture in Seagrave.
Our Development Squad’s league season may be over after an extra-time defeat to Southampton in the Premier League 2 play-offs last weekend, but the Under-18s are gunning for a return to form against the Saints.
Facing off at Staplewood Training Ground on Saturday afternoon, it’s one of two U18 Premier League South matches left to play for the side coached by Adam Barradell.
