  • Janice Cayman shortlisted for Goal of the Season
  • Player Champion of Change nomination for Sophie Howard
  • Voting to open at 5pm on Saturday 10 May
Janice – a Goal of the Month winner in February – makes the shortlist for Goal of the Season following her stunning strike against Aston Villa.
A powerful volley from outside the box, the 36-year-old’s effort capped off a positive performance and helped us secure an emphatic 3-0 win at King Power Stadium.
Sophie Howard, meanwhile, is nominated in the Player Champion of Change category, celebrating her selfless work off the pitch.
A passionate advocate for important causes, Sophie supports a range of charities and community projects, while playing a key role in Leicester City in the Community’s outreach programmes.
Head of Operations and Governance Jade Morgan also receives a nomination nod in the Club Hero category.
The vote for the Barclays WSL Goal of the Season will open at 5pm on Saturday 10 May following the conclusion of final day fixtures and will close on 4pm on Sunday 11 May.
