We host the Tigers at King Power Stadium sitting eight points adrift of Sky Bet Championship safety with nine points left to play for in 25/26, making it a tall order to haul ourselves out of the bottom three.
Ahead of the 7:45pm BST kick-off, City’s Manager shared his take on the weekend’s defeat on the South Coast and what he expects from the team come Tuesday evening.

Assessing the 1-0 reverse against Portsmouth last time out, it was a case of a familiar story at both ends of the pitch, with a set piece goal conceded and an inability to take our own opportunities when they arose.
“We’re disappointed, of course,” he told the media following defeat at Fratton Park. “We don’t find that moment of quality. In the second half, it’s a been a story of this period certainly for me and probably over the season where it’s a set piece and they get a little bit of fortune but it’s a goal we’ve conceded and it’s a soft goal.
“It’s the Championship. Unless you do the basics of the game, the quality doesn’t have a chance to shine or to come out. We have three or four chances at the other end and don’t manage to take them.
“We didn’t create quite as many chances today, but we just can’t seem to find a way to score. I thought we showed a lack of quality in the right areas, a lack of composure and a lack of toughness to do the basics in the one moment where we conceded the set piece. Maybe we lacked a sense of urgency.
“We’ve come out on the wrong side of lots of results because we can’t finish our chances. I don’t think it’s a lack of confidence, but when you get those big moments, if you’ve not taken those chances over a period, that’s composure and quality of finishing.
“It’s been a collective. If you look at the goalscorers in the team, it’s been too low, it’s not been enough, certainly in forward areas. We changed players and had a similar outcome.”
‘Show that belief’

The least Leicester can do, according to Rowett, is go into the encounter with Hull showing the belief to earn victory in front of the Foxes fans, in what is the first of three final games this term.
“I’ll always take responsibility,” the 52-year-old continued. “I’m disappointed that we haven’t won more games of football. It’s a big challenge, but until that challenge is over, we’ll keep working hard to see if we can change that.
“We’ve used a lot of words this week and in the last two or three games. We have to show that belief in our performance and in our results. I said to the players, we have to start hoping we get a little bit of fortune from somewhere else.
“I don’t like saying that as a manager because I’m not interested in what other teams do; I’m interested in what we do. We have to be as professional as we can be. I still want to win all three games. It’s about pride and your own personal standards.
“I don’t care where the league is and what position we’re in, I’d be fighting to try and feel better about myself in the last three games and that’s what we’re going to try and do.
“For me, the main focus is what we need to do on Tuesday and just try and give our fans some positivity. We’ve not managed to give them that. I can understand their frustration. The only way we can change that is to win a game of football.
“We turn up Tuesday and have to do everything we can to try and win the game, but it’s easy saying that. We’ve looked for that extra little bit of drive and not quite found it, so we have to see if we can on Tuesday.”
