Hamza Choudhury scores for Bangladesh in a 2-0 friendly win against Bhutan
Woyo Coulibaly made his debut for Mali after being called up this summer
More Leicester City players will feature over the coming days
On Wednesday, Hamza started the scoring for his home nation on only his second appearance, converting a powerful header after six minutes in Dhaka – the capital of Bangladesh.
Sohel Rana doubled Bangladesh’s advantage early on in the second half and that’s the way it stayed at the Bangabandhu National Stadium as Choudhury’s country now focus on their Asian Cup Qualification Play-Off against Singapore next week.
On Thursday, Coulibaly was the latest City star to make an impression with his nation as he debuted for Mali against DR Congo at Stade de la Source in France.
Although a solitary strike from Samuel Essende was enough for the hosts to record a friendly win, Coulibaly can still be proud to represent the West African nation for the first time.
Further international action will follow for City this weekend, with a number of fixtures taking place across the globe.
