The Republic of Ireland international arrives with plenty of experience at the top level and believes Leicester's vision for the future made the decision an easy one.
“I’m really excited,” Ziu stated. “I think that the ambition of the Club and the structure that they have in place is exciting. I can’t wait to get started.
“I’m a technical player, hopefully I can get some goals, hopefully assists by threading people in on goal.
“But adding to the attacking end of the pitch and helping to get this Club back to where it belongs is my main aim.”
While Ziu is looking ahead to making an impact on the pitch, she also reflected on the hard work that has gone into returning from a serious knee injury.
After suffering a second career ACL, the midfielder has battled back to full fitness and is ready to contribute once again.
With her recovery complete, Ziu's focus is firmly on helping Leicester enjoy a successful season. Alongside the collective goal of returning the Club to WSL 1, she is also determined to earn international recognition once again.
“Unfortunately, I have done my knee, but I’ve had a great recovery, and I feel back to the Jess I was before that,” the 24-year-old continued.
“I’m just hoping to stay fit, play as many games as I can for Leicester, get them back up to the first league and get back in the national team too.”
