Celeste Boureille set for period on the sidelines with injury
Defender to undergo surgery to repair ruptured anterior cruciate ligament

Celeste is now set to undergo surgery before commencing an individualised rehabilitation programme with the support of the LCFC Women medical team at Belvoir Drive.

Celeste had made a positive start to life in Leicester, making seven appearances in all competitions, and played her part in important Barclays Women’s Super League victories over Liverpool and London City Lionesses.

Everyone at the Football Club wishes Celeste a speedy recovery and we look forward to seeing her return to the pitch as soon as possible.
