A late call will be made on the availability of goalkeeper Katie Keane

Last weekend's win away at Sheffield United has put us in good stead to bring momentum and confidence back to King Power Stadium for the visit of Durham.

Heading into matchday two of the campaign, Passmoor has spoken to the media and identified several players who will not be involved in the Filbert Way fixture.

Along with the long-term absentees, he announced that Leah Eddie will miss out through a calf strain, and a late call on Saturday will have to be made on Keane. Midfielder Pelgander, will miss out after receiving two yellow cards at Bramall Lane.

Scottish defender Leah Eddie played the majority of our opening day win against Sheffield United.

“Longer term, we have Emma [Jansson] and Liv [McLoughlin] out as well as Celeste [Boureille]. Emilia [Pelgander] will miss the next match through suspension," the Manager explained.

“Leah [Eddie] has a calf strain and will miss this week. Katie Keane has a bit of strain as well, so the next 24 hours will be important so we will see if she is ready."

The former West Ham United manager went on to talk about the confidence he has in both senior 'keepers at the Club, with Olivia Clark, an experienced Welsh international, readily available to come in if necessary.

“This provides opportunities to other players in the side," Passmoor continued. "From a goalkeeper perspective, Liv Clark is a great goalkeeper who we have confidence to do well, should she get that opportunity.”
