A second test for LCFC Women, after a victory against Rugby Borough a week ago, saw us draw with Manchester United, in their first pre-season test, with each side winning one of the 40 minutes halves.
It was an impressive outing from the Foxes, who wanted to impose themselves on the ball, exampled by Rick Passmoor's side taking the lead on 20 minutes when Ale scored from the edge of the box after cutting inside from left-back.
Our second pre-season friendly ended in a 1-1 draw.
New centre-back pairing Jessie Stapleton and Leah Eddie showed their strength while Emilia Pelgander was given vital minutes, for the second match in a row, after her loan spell last term.
Alisha Lehmann and Jess Ziu looked dangerous in attack, and Academy graduate, Denny Draper, who recently penned a new two-year-deal at the Club, led the line.
Building minutes at Belvoir Drive.
As the game grew on, the Red Devils picked up the pace and did find a leveller in the final moments, but it is still a performance to be proud of for Leicester, as work continues to amplify ahead of our WSL2 season opener against Sheffield United next month.
