With experience at Brighton & Hove Albion, Rangers, Bristol City and, most recently, Birmingham City, the 23-year-old central midfielder is excited for her new challenge on Filbert Way.

Speaking with us for the first time, our new signing explained how the Club's ambitions aligned with her own, making the switch an easy decision.

“I think the ambition of the Club, wanting to get straight back into the WSL, was a massive factor in me wanting to come here,” Bance stated.

Making the move to Leicester.

“I’d say my key strengths are my endurance, being able to get up and down the pitch, and my range of passing, being able to spray the ball left or right.

“Hopefully, that will help the team under pressure and help create chances going forward.”

A player who likes to break up play while also helping on the transition, Bance has settled into life in LE2 well thanks to the rest of the group at Belvoir Drive.

Excited to get going.

Now itching to get started and meet her new fanbase, she is hoping King Power Stadium will provide many happy memories for her and the team throughout the season.

She added: “The girls have been great since I got here. I feel like I’ve settled in well already, and that’s all thanks to them.

“I can’t wait to get started. I’ve seen the stadium and it’s lovely. I’ve heard the fans here are excellent, and I can’t wait to play in front of them.”
