Goalkeeper Janina Leitzig was also brought up during the pre-London City press conference, with the German 'keeper picking up an illness this week.

Still involved in training, it is too early to know whether she will be involved in the action at King Power Stadium, but one confirmed absentee will be our Icelandic centre-forward.

Mouchon could be involved in Sunday's matchday squad.

"From last weekend, Hlín [Eiríksdóttir] has pulled her hamstring so that's quite a few weeks that she'll be away from the squad, and working with the medical team," Passmoor said.

"Jani [Leitzig] has been ill recently. Today has been the heaviest day for her so we will see how she does this evening and into tomorrow before making a decision (on her availability for the game)."

On the plus side, Mouchon, who hasn't been involved since a 1-1 draw with West Ham United in November, joined the team in contact training this week, but question marks remain whether she'll be fully fit to feature once more in 2025.

The Manager added: "Noémie [Mouchon] is back on the field, she has completed a full few days with the team. Again, we will see how she does and it could still be too early, but she is in the mix for our matchday selection."
