A hard-fought display from the Foxes, which ended in defeat on Filbert Way, was well received by the 4,500 fans as our spot in next season's Barclays Women's Super League competition has been confirmed with results elsewhere this weekend.
Park's goal in the second half was all it took to decide the scoreline, but with two games to go, Amandine Miquel's side still have their eyes set on a record campaign in the top flight.
Swaby starts
A fourth WSL appearance for Swaby.
Chantelle Swaby was named in the starting line-up, partnering Sophie Howard in central defence, for the sixth time this season, since her arrival from FC Fleury last summer.
Only her fourth outing in the WSL, the Jamaican international replaced an injured CJ Bott, who wasn't included in the matchday squad.
Slotting right into the defensive backline, Swaby held off Man City advances in the first half, and kept the game close until less than 20 minutes to play when Park found the net.
Park's goal the difference
Only goal between the two sides.
Leicester turned up with a gameplan and executed it well, limiting the opposition to chances outside the box, while looking to create openings of our own on the break.
With over an hour gone, the relentless pressure paid off for the Manchester outfit, when quick play allowed the ball to find Park unmarked at the back post.
With time to control it and pick her spot, the Lioness made no mistake and ensured the points for the travelling side, with the only goal of the game.
Two to go
We head to Crystal Palace next weekend.
With safety already confirmed before today's result kicking off, with West Ham United's resounding win over Crystal Palace, the pressure is lifted heading into the final two games of the season.
There's still plenty for Leicester to play for, however, in the WSL, with a trip to relegated Palace up next before finishing the campaign at home to the Hammers a week later (Saturday 10 April, 2pm kick-off).
A win in south London would be a first on the road for Miquel, with a fifth win of the season setting a new record, and points record in the process.
