Goals in either half from Julia Zigiotti Olme and Elisabeth Terland were the difference at King Power Stadium, as our hunt for a first win in 2026 continues.
Three changes were made by Rick Passmoor, following a narrow defeat to West Ham United last time out, with the injured Emma Jansson, Olivia McLoughlin and Shannon O'Brien coming out for Sari Kees, Emily van Egmond and Alisha Lehmann, who made her full Foxes debut.

The WSL's second placed team came with the intentions to get on the front foot early, and did so getting a quick-fire goal when a Zigiotti Olme cross was left untouched to head into Olivia Clark's far post.
The majority of the first half saw the Manchester outfit dictate possession, but rarely tested the gloves of Liv Clark, who was making her second consecutive WSL appearance, with Janina Leitzig missing out through injury.
Saturday's downpour didn't make the first 45 minutes any easier for either side, with constant rain heading into the midday kick-off creating a slippery surface and a sense of unpredictability at both ends.

Unable to get much of a foothold on the game in the first period, City came out in the second half determined to make more of an impact, and looked positive in the opening 10 to 15 minutes, coming closest when former United striker, Rachel Williams, headed an effort into the gloves of Phallon Tullis-Joyce.
The next best Leicester chance came from substitute Noémie Mouchon, who looked to have an immediate impact when she ran onto a through ball down the right-hand channel, before stinging the gloves of the opposition 'keeper from a tight angle.
However, the visitors doubled their advantage late on when Sam Tierney was dispossessed in the midfield, leading to the chance for Terland to take her time and expertly find the net.
