Manager Amandine Miquel confirms midfielder Ruby Mace set for spell out with injury
⁠The 21-year-old England international will not require surgery

Following a thorough assessment over the last few days, it has been confirmed that while the injury affects Ruby’s right knee, it is not a cruciate ligament issue, and she will not require surgery as part of her recovery.

LCFC Women Manager Miquel said: “While it’s disappointing for us and for Ruby to lose her for a period, the positive news is that the injury is not as serious as it could have been. She is in good hands with our medical team, and we will support her through her recovery to get her back on the pitch as soon as possible.”

The England international will now begin her rehabilitation with the Club’s medical staff at Belvoir Drive. Everyone at the Football Club wishes Ruby a speedy recovery and looks forward to seeing her in a Leicester City shirt soon.
